Ginny came to Urban Edge in 2015 as a Foreclosure Prevention and Homeownership Services Associate. In September of 2016, she was promoted to Manager of Homeownership Services. Her primary role is managing and facilitating Urban Edge's First Time Home Buyer Program, which is one of the largest in the state. Ginny’s past experience in housing began at QCAP where she held several positions; Housing Search Specialist, Housing First Coordinator, Homeownership Program Administrative Manager and Case Manager. In 2012 the MA Attorney General launched the HomeCorp’s Division and Ginny was contracted to the role of Loan Modification Specialist and Housing Counselor Liaison for the MA Housing Counseling community. Ginny believes housing is a basic human right. Ginny has a BS from Suffolk University, holds a certificate in Gender, Leadership and Public Policy from UMass Boston, is a HUD certified counselor and has several NeighborWorks Housing Certifications.
Ginny was born and raised in Quincy and has recently returned there. She resides with her youngest child, Mary who is a budding attorney and her dog Tayto.
