3. Reclaim Your Time & Mind with GirlTrek‘s 5-Day Stress Protest! Sign up today! Our Community Engagement Officer Sahar has been a part of GirlTrek’s movement to activate black women as changemakers in their lives and communities since 2015. GirlTrek is rallying 1 Million Black women to walk in their neighborhoods for radical self-care and healing. Visit girltrek.org to learn more.

4. Do you have (or know) rising 5th and 6th graders? Interested in fun (and free!) opportunities for your children to learn and stay engaged? Check out the MLK Summer Program. 5. The Summer Dreams 2018 Leadership Camp is filling up and we have not heard from you. The camp, free to BPS middle school students (including rising 6thand 9thgraders) and their families, takes place from Sunday, August 26 to Thursday, August 30To save a spot for your son at camp, complete the first page of the application and send it as soon as possible (ASAP) to Jenelle Lawson or email it to Maida Williams at wmaida@mac.com.
